Geochron Digital Version 2’s performance and features are a dramatic improvement over Version 1 – and we wanted everyone to have it through three different upgrade paths:
- Do-it-yourself for free.
- Get a bootable thumbdrive from us
- Send it in for a factory upgrade.
Every option has been a success, but the first two options have generated a lot of emails and phone calls seeking technical support, and this – in turn – has slowed down our ability to develop more features on the Geochron Digital. On August 30th, option #1 and option #2 will end. You will still be able to send it to us for a factory upgrade for the forseeable future.
